2173 Senior Design Engineer-ca (33333)

Requirements:
Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or similar);
Understanding of customer adaptation process and product complexity management as well as industrial processes to judge industrial impact;
Solid experience in vehicle product definition, configuration, or system integration / engineering in automotive or commercial vehicles;
Extensive product knowledge (holistic approach), covering the complete vehicle, functional groups, and all areas of expertise;
Proven knowledge into EDB (Product info, KAP, KAX, S-note,…); VBI; KOLA (DCN, Variant Structure, Restriction, …); CAD; Legal knowledge (basic); GDP/PDP;
Fluent English;
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Activities:
Central role in defining vehicle configurations and customer offerings;
Secure involvement and deliveries from Support functions;
Makes independent technical decisions within area of responsibility;
Escalates complex trade-offs or risks;
Create, release and maintain S-notes securing vehicle functionality and features;
High exposure across engineering, architecture, and product strategy managing pressure and speed, in na very dynamic environment;
Handles complex, cross-system adaptations, including high-impact or strategic cases;
Acts as reference for technical decisions within CA domain;
Proactively identify risks and propose mitigation solutions;
Guide less experienced engineers and support capability development.
